About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL).

Before joining UNL, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, working with Prof. Caroline Moosmueller, who leads the GEOMETRIC DATA ANALYSIS @ UNC group. My research is partially supported by NSF award DMS–2410140.

Research Interests

Applied optimal transport, Data geometry and biological applications, Mathematical data science, Signal/image analysis, Approximation theory (splines)

* I am looking for strongly motivated postdoctoral researchers interested in the mathematics of data science, including applied/computational mathematics, mathematical modeling, and machine learning applications. Please email me if you are interested.
